CommentsHello. Nice website. I wish you the best of luck in this. I have been an instructor in the Kansas BOW program since it started and my favorite hunting partner is genetically advantaged (female). I have been using the word anglers for fishermen for about ten years now. We have started a interactive list for women who have been to the Kansas BOW program and the BOW instructors. We are initiating a mentoring program too. Once again good luck. Spencer Tomb
CommentsI saw your entry on the Inverness Labradors' Guestbook and came to visit. Very nice site. I like the graphics and it's a great topic! All the best to you!
CommentsInteresting site even though I am not a woman. I do enjoy the outdoors with my lovely wife.
CommentsI think this site is great I have been searching for a site just for women and look forward to seeing everything. I am new to hunting this year and so far enjoy getting out in the woods.
CommentsGreat website. Found it after being invited to join the women's hunting club on yahoo.com. Looking foward to doing a lot more surf time on-line.
CommentsI love what you are doing Delores. I am excited to see how many of us Lady Hunters are out there. Wonderful page. It is beautiful. Sue
CommentsLooking good!! Keep up the good work !
CommentsGreat website! I have always felt that the key to preserving the one of the best things that we have, our outdoor heritage, so that we may be assured that our grandchildren can enjoy the activities we do today lies with encouraging the participation and input of as many of the many ladies out there that enjoy huntng and fishing. Keep up the great work!
CommentsIt is great that there are now more women hunting than ever. Maybe someday the hunting industry will catch up with us. Anyone know where to get no-scent hair conditioner or lotion? Using the scent-free soap is fine, but after 2 weeks of continuous use things are getting quite dry. Thanks for a great website!
CommentsA wonderful website! I love it! I found it after I joined the woman's hunting club on yahoo.com. It's my first hunting year and I enjoy every moment. Keep up the good work!!
CommentsI did not know something like this existed. This is great!
CommentsGreat Page! I was just inquiring about your women outdoors, we have a great facility to offer such a program like this one. Please inform me of any other information. Thank you! Lennae Klyap Dome Mountain Ranch
CommentsKeep it up! We NEED to get more women involved in and knowledgable about the outdoors, and especially the hunting, shooting, and fishing sports if we want to keep these rights. Too many women have never learned anything about the outdoors except from the movies. I was raised on a ranch, and have hunted and fished for years (about 20). Women can be GOOD at this.
CommentsIt's just nice to have any site at all that is female focused. Our problems with hunting are very different than those of men, and the hurdles are enourmous still. We need all the publicity/support we can give each other.

CommentsI think it's so cool that someone has made a website for outdoor women. Good Job!!
CommentsI think this is great that you have a site for women that take an interest in the outdoors. I have been on the Board of Directors for Pinnacle Mountain Fish and Game Club in Lyndeborough NH for 6 years, and am an avid Hunter and Fisher myself. I am a NH hunter safety instructor and our club has been passing the word on to other women and children in order to help preserve our heritage. I would like to see more of these types of sites in the future. Keep up the good work

CommentsThanks for the great web site.
CommentsI absolutely love women who are involved in hunting and fishing. It's the strongest defense to the outdoors sports that 'we' have going. I am a divorced man, 51, 5'8", 185, who loves to bowhunt all he can. I'd love to meet an attractive outdoor woman who I can relate to and share my adventures with. I've bowhunted out west, Canada, Texas, Alabama, W. Va., and Africa twice. I'm a quality person looking for a quality woman to share the treasures of nature far and wide. Any suggestions.
CommentsI am a hunter and a fisher(woman). I love to see that there are many of us out there. My boyfriend got me to love outdoors. I myself started to take interest since I was about 11 years old. Now I am 23. I bowhunt and riffle hunt . So to everybody out there like me, keep it going!
CommentsI'm am designing a line of hunting wear specifically for women. If you have any interest or comments contact me at the above email
CommentsGreat Site! It would be great to meet other women bowhunters. Any close by-- feel free to E-mail me.
CommentsI am glad that there are women out there that enjoy hunting and fishing. I just started hunting at the request of my husband. My first hunt was sunday with no success. I enjoyed being in the outdoors with him and when our chilren get old enough we plan on making it a family sport.I also enjoyed this web site and look forward to visiting again real soon.
CommentsThis is great! Thanks for giving us a place to tell our stories. We have so much to learn from each other. Looking forward to hunting in my mind all winter! I hunt alongside all of you as we tell our stories around the campfire!
Commentsi am finding it hard to find things on female hunters. things like sharing stories, hints, etc. i am pretty new on the internet part of the computer and not sure where to look. i would love to chat with other hunters and even find out how to get something going in my area for females. thanks brenda
CommentsI just read through some of the letters. I love this website!!! In my area there are not very many female hunters, so it's nice to be able to comunicate on the computer. I would love to chat with others about hunting. Four years ago I hated hunting. Then I met Jeff and now I can't get enough of it. Thanks again for giving me an outlet to talk to other female hunters. Brenda
CommentsGreat site! Very happy to see this. I love the outdoors including hunting and fishing. Hope to see more women in the field.
CommentsNo enough women in fresh water bass fishing team tournaments. No clubs in CA!!

CommentsHi Delores, It gives me great joy to see that there are so many women into hunting and fishing. I can't get my wife to hunt but she likes to fish. She always goes hunting with me and stays in camp. One of her friends always goes with us and she hunts. I am an avid Elk and Deer Hunter from North Central Idaho. I have a lot of videos of Elk, Deer, Moose, Mt. Goat, Mt. Sheep, Wild Turkeys, Etc. Many of these were taken from our land located 3 miles out of Elk City, Idaho. I also have a lot of videos of the Gospel Hump Wilderness Area, and the surrounding mountains. Have a fine day and God Bless. Wishing you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year...Bill
CommentsI am one of only three female salmon fishing guides on Vancouver Island. I am interested in talking to other women anglers and women who wish to learn about salmon fishing out here. It is not unusual to catch fish in the 20lb range all the way up to 60lbs here. If you are interested give me a shout.

CommentsGreat sights! Have been hunting the Peninsula for twenty-three years now. Have met only one other woman out there and that was this year. She bow hunts and I modern rifle. We had some stories to share!
CommentsI love to hunt and fish!! I bowhunt mostly...But love to do it all. My husband got me started almost eight years ago And we have two boys, ages 7 and 12 so if I want to do things with them I had to learn how to shoot and catch fish. It was easy because we all enjoy being outside!! I am looking forward to joining a womans hunting club on the Net...I live in a small town and am one of just a few women who really enjoy to hunt!! I have harvessted deer with both a gun and a bow, wild turkey and bear!! I love it!! Jeri Brantner
CommentsI am a Christian author of nine books who is doing a book on Christian outdoor stories: stories of people encountering God in the outdoors, be it dramatic or sublime. I am looking for contacts for good stories and would appreciate any help. Thanks
CommentsGlad I found this site. I'm looking for clubs or groups in the Miami area. I'm tired of hunting with men. I have to do all the cooking. If anyone needs a hunting or fishing partner, please pass my address along. Thanks.
CommentsCongradulations Ladies, I have covered every part of your web-site,and know what? I am very proud of your dedication to hunting. The site is very well proportioned, covers all important issues.I only wish more women would get involved in hunting.Remember,You have the POWER!! Keep up the good work and The best of luck to you all on your hunting adventures!!! Best Regards, Vic & Hounds

CommentsI wanted to have a look, as I have been training women to hunt and wanted to recommend your site.
CommentsThis is a great site! We need our own place...just like we need our own "outdoor wear" and camo. Does anyone know if Zanika wear is still available? Jude in anti-Hunting Canada
CommentsI enjoyed your sight very much. I have added this to my bookmarks and will be visiting often. Great job! I have also included my soul mates web page for anyone who is interested in visiting our hunting page. A picture of my first bowkill is there for the world to see!

CommentsJust stumbled onto your page. You are absolutely right. Women are the coming market for the sporting goods industry. I had a terrible time just two years ago trying to find a pair of neoprene waders and wading booties that fit. This year there was a good selection. I had really grown tired of making men's sizes work. I publish a fishing newspaper called Saltwater Texas. We are a conservation based publication and the addition of women to the ranks of the environmentally-minded will be a big boost in taking us where we want to go. Already we see women at the forefront of promoting catch and release in the billfishing tournament circuit here in Texas. Also, promoting the participation of children in the sport is the only way to protect it's future. Jonette W. Childs

CommentsJust this morning I was tagging in a Doe that a young man shot with his cross bow. It was his first deer and he was so excited . I started talking with him about hunting and he said "you hunt!" I've never heard of a woman who hunts!" I showed him some pictures and explained that there are lots of women hunters out there. I then gave him the web site to check out. I'm glad I am a woman hunter . I also love your website and the women's hunting club.
CommentsGlad to find this site,it's about time there are specialized sites for us about fishing and hunting. Congratulations!
CommentsI love HUNTING! Any kind any where. Elk,deer, bear, pigs, antelope, coyotes, bobcat, fox, ducks, frogs and upland birds. I just bought a 3yr. old English pointer and can't wait to go bird hunting. GOOD LUCK GIRLS!

CommentsTHANKS FOR THIS SITE. ITS NICE TO KNOW THERES OTHERS OUT THERE LIKE ME. SOMETIMES I FEEL LIKE IM THE ONLY LADY IN THE FIELD. I HAVE SEVERAL FRIENDS WHO HUNT/CAMP WITH US BUT THEY ARE CONTENT TO STAY AT CAMP AND COOK FOR THEIR FAMILIES, WHICH IS FINE. BUT IT WOULD BE NICE TO HAVE ANOTHER WOMAN OUT THERE IN THE TREES WITH ME TO SWAP STORIES WITH, SHARE HUNTING TIPS AND JUST FOR MORALE SUPPORT. (SOMETIMES THOSE GUYS CAN BE ITIMIDATING) WELL, KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK.
CommentsGREAT PAGE! I LOVE HUNTING AND ENJOYED THE COMMENTS FROM FEMALE SPORTSMAN. YOU LADIES WHO DON'T HUNT ARE REALLY MISSING A GREAT TIME.
CommentsThis is a well done web page and offers a great place for women who like to fish and hunt to network.
CommentsCongradulations on and excellent web site. As past president of the Victoria Fish & Game club I am always excited and pleased to see women taking up the challange of the outdoors and showing their pride bt creating such a web page. In closing if I may I would like to inform your visitors and members that the Victoria Fish & Game Club will be conducting two programs for women only in march. I will be instructing the Canadian Firearms Safety Course, and BC'S Hunter Safety course. Thankyou R.T. Wright
CommentsCongratulation with a "great job" / website. and thank's for the tip to womenhunters. I'll have a look there. Great to see so manny female hunters out there! Happy hunting to all, Frank Ps:Interested in how, and what we hunt here in Denmark? have a look at my URL.
CommentsYou also need to put an item in for those of us who target/sport shoot, also! Not that fishing and hunting aren't great fun, but what is there to do after hunting season and when it's too hot out for even the crappies to bite? HOUSEWORK?! Get Serious!
CommentsI Like your pageit has a lot of iformation about fishing me my wife and son fish alot and we like to read about fishing to. GOOD FISHING BIG DADDY

CommentsI haven't gone through it yet. I was so excited to see a hunting and fishing website for women that I just had to tell you first before I read on. Thank you. I'll comment again when I've gone through your site.
CommentsINTERESTED IN DUCK HUNTING TRAINING WITH MY CHESAPEAKE BAY RETREIVERS. I ALSO BREED THESE DOGS AND WOULD BE INTERESTED IN EVENTS IN NC. OR SC. THANK YOU
CommentsExcellent job. I researched your site and many others for a story I'm doing on women in the outdoors and the BOW program for the Green Bay Press-Gazette. Will e-mail you the final story soon.
CommentsNeat web site. For several years I have been teaching a Ladies Only Surf Fishing School as part of my regular series of Outer Banks Surf Fishing Schools. My wife, who happens to be my favorite fishing partner, teaches the Ladies programs with me. Ladies who are interested can visit my site at www.outer-banks.nc.us/joemalat. We also offer a weekly Outer Banks fishing report on the site. Good luck with your programs!

CommentsMan, that is one UGLY lookin' hog! Course, don't think I've ever seen a pretty hog! Congratulations! A group of nine bowhunters from the Bowsite spent a weekend there last year. It was the innaugral "Magnificent Hawg Hunt". I did a "Live Hunt Update" from my web page. Check it out along with several other hunts.

CommentsFound your link in the Women Hunters Yahoo club. Great looking roast on your first page. Rest of site is nice, too. The roast really caught my eye, though 'cause it's right before lunch. My daughter (11) is into archery and recently she's been reading my hunting mags and asking questions. She also wants a camo boonie hat just like mine. I'm going to explore the rest of your site now but just wanted to mention the you started a great club. Frank Harris-Smith Garden Grove, California
CommentsWhat a great site you have made here. I am also an avid outdoors woman. I have been hunting and fishing since I was ten. I am now 28 and I can not tell you how much I enjoy it. My dad, granddaddy, and husband all have had a hand in my outdoor pursuits. Once again thanks for a GREAT SITE for promoting women in the outdoors. I am an instructor for Becoming an Outdoors Women for my state. What a Great program also. Mother Nature does offer a very theraputic way of easing ones soul. Keep up the good work. Tina M. Carter
CommentsI am a female hunter and love the outdoors
CommentsLove your sight. Just became a member of the Yahoo club. I got into hunting for some of the same reason Delores did. Got the fever though. Keep up the good work.
CommentsVery impressive site
CommentsHi Troy! If you get this message, please let us know where your bearhunting article is on this website. Curt asked me to look it up for him and I'm afraid I'm not able to find it. Thanks! -Pam Majoros (Curt "the canuck's" girlfriend!)

CommentsThis is a really good site! I'm 16 and female and I've been hunting for 4 years now; I've shot pheasants, deer, and even a wild boar. I haven't seen a bear to shoot one, but when that opportunity comes, I'm going to take it. I started shooting when I was 7. I grew up fishing and am leaving for a big "muskie charter" next week. I get some slack for being a female hunter, but most people respect that. It's great that you started a site like this and keep up the good work!

CommentsI have been hunting and fishing for 30 years and 20 years in Virginia ( Love this state). I am also a member of the National Wild Turkey Federation and new appointed volunteer State Coordinator for their Women in the Outdoors Program. I am planning an event October 9, 1999 the first of its kind in Northern Virginia. Most BOW programs have been in the Richmond and further out areas. We have had some difficulty in finding a place that allows shooting. You can imagine in the shadow of Washington DC we come up against aniti-hunting and PETAs National Headquarters is a neighbor. I would appreciate it if I could put something on your website about our program.. If you would like to receive a brochure and registration form please let me know. I am planning this event on a very limited budget and looking for volunteers to instruct and just help out. Thank You for your time and for having an outdoors site on the web for women. Linda

CommentsI wished I had found this site sooner. I would like to have entered a story in your contest. I became a hunter for the first time in 1998 at the age of 42. My first year was filled with mistakes from forgetting to chamber a round to not taking the safety off, but my husband assured me that these are mistakes that most hunters make whether they admit to it or not. Anyway, I was successful and brought a deer home my first year out. Since it was my first year and we were unsure whether I would like it or not, I used some "hand-me-down" hunting clothes rather than going to the expense of purchasing new ones. Well, I'm hooked and need to be outfitted. As I guess most women have found, pickens are slim for women's hunting gear. Boots seem to be the biggest problem for me. When I find women's sizes, I don't like the boot. Any assistance you give me would be greatly appreciated. Your site is refreshing to find and I hope to see it grow as more women hunters find the site. All my best and hope you have a successful hunting season. Carol Craigo 214 Ellison Avenue Beckley, WV 25801

CommentsI have finally had time to check up the different web sites which I had bookmarked but haven't visited. I am almost ready to put the golf clubs away and get ready for hunting season. The summer has gone by so fast and the hunting fever has caught me again. I have enjoyed browsing this site. I will wonder here often.
CommentsEnjoyed your web site. I have been hunting deer, pheasent & quail for about 15 years.
CommentsI've been hunting for a few years now and can't begin to imagine that I ever thought life was full without it! I'm very happy to see so many other women who love to hunt like me. I'm a regular at BOW workshops and am now looking forward to our state's first Beyond BOW. The website is very well put together although there seems to be a size issue which doesn't always allow me to see the full width of the page. I'd like to see more about hunting outside the USA. It amazes me how many neat hunting opportunities there are around the world. My boyfriend has said he is ready to stick close to home after years of hunting around the world, so it looks like I'll need a female hunting partner who wants to explore!
CommentsWonderful website. It's so nice to know that there are so many women involved in hunting.
CommentsLooking forward to going to BOW with you this spring. Call me with info
CommentsDelores, My first (but not last) visit to your site! I applaud you for the work you do and the support you show all sportsmen/women! It is women like you that help set a positive example to our friends, children, and opponents! Keep up the great work, and we would be priviledged to link you to our site, Thank You! Sincerely, Steve Olson VA-WLFA
CommentsAs an instructor for the bow program in Kansas, I realize the need for more communication about events for women. Your website is just what outdoors women need! Thanks! melinda harder.
CommentsAs a young girl, I was the bird dog for my oldest sister and Dad. ABout 6 years ago, my husband took me pheasant hunting and taught me to love pheasant hunting. Needless to say, it is almost right out our door (okay a mile or so out of town) since we live in North Central South Dakota.
CommentsI love your website! I am trying to find out how to join-- I am an avid hunter of whitetail, turkey, doves, and sometimes ducks. I especially love to fish--bass, stiped bass, catfish, and other small freshwater fish. I need more women hunters to hang out with!!Please help me find people in South Carolina. I have a 600 acre farm in the midlands of South Carolina with 12 tree stands and 3 climbers. There are many, many deer to see.
CommentsLoved your web page, I just joined the womens hunting club on yahoo. I am an avid deer hunter, and archer. I also love to fish and plan on buying another bow just for fishing. We seem to do so much better when we shoot them. In NE it is legal to shoot game fish!! Keep up the good work promoting BOW. I am an instructor for the archery classes in Iowa. I am going to the NE BOW next week as a participant. What a wonderfull experience for women to have the opportunity to explore the outdoors and everything it has to offer!! Happy Hunting, Christy Christiansen
CommentsI would like to see a section that included target archery... I shoot 3D archery and love the outdoors but every year there seems to be less and less women getting involved and maybe with a section dedicated to target shooting may get some intrest from more women. I do National and World shooting through the International Bowhunting Organization. Please if you can help the sport out..
Commentsi am extremely excited to find this organization & look forward to joining! i hope to get advice and meet new friends with the same interests as my own.
CommentsGreat looking site overall. Great to see the ladies getting involved more in hunting, fishing, and the outdoors in general. I try to get my wife involved in all my hunting and fishing.
CommentsI would like to know were I can buy the scoks in my part of the country. thanks kendel
CommentsGood site. Would like to see more technical articles. A link to other bowhunting sites would be nice also. I found your site from the Virginia Bowhunters conference center at BOWSITE. Thanks for promoting our great sport!
CommentsIt was so nice to stumble across a page dedicated to the female gender in hunting. Although I have been hunting a long time it is tough to find women who can keep up with the sport. Luckily my husband and I love all that is outdoors. Your page is great. Visit ours. http://www.geocities.com/deerdope The bow season is upon us here in Louisiana and rifle for us in in a couple of weeks. Good Hunting Keri
CommentsI believe your website is great, but more importantly, I really liked your show. My husband is an avid hunter and outdoorsman. This is a sport that I want to get involved with my husband. I enjoy watching the hunting show with my husband, but it is really nice to see a woman out there participating. I wish you great success with your new show, and I hope it will continuing airing on into the new year.
CommentsI am an avid woman hunter! I hunt dove, ducks, geese, pheasant, quail, antelope, deer and elk. Almost every weekend from Sept. 1 until the end of goose season my husband and I are hunting! However sometimes there is a "guys only hunt", EXCUSE ME!!????. This does not settle well with me. I have a great dog, HR Sadona's Invincible Bear, WC, CGC, JH, CD, AWC, CD, SH. I would love to find other women to hunt birds with on these guys only occasions. For instance the opening of pheasant season in Kansas. I would like for this site to help woman hunters get gether to hunt! P.S. I like fishing also.....
CommentsI am doing a research paper on bowhunting, women in general, and was searching for information when I came across this site. I plan on bowhunting next fall with my boyfriend and his dad, right now I go out to the woods with them and video tape their hunts.
CommentsYour web-site is great! I am looking for other women who like to correspond about hunting and fishing. Can you help me out? Sarah
